Privacy notice

Who runs this website
CyberUnpacked is an independent online-safety publication operated by Sasho Trajkov in North Macedonia. This notice explains the information used to run this website. For privacy questions or requests, use our contact page.
Information used when you browse
Our hosting and security services process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser information and request times to deliver pages, troubleshoot errors and protect the service. The site is hosted by Kinsta. Service providers may process information outside your country.
Messages you send
If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you provide. We use these details to respond to the request, handle corrections and protect the service from abuse. Do not send passwords, login codes, payment details or sensitive incident evidence.
Cookies and browser storage
WordPress uses cookies for administrator sign-in and other essential functions. The homepage safety checklist stores your selections locally in your browser so they remain available on your next visit. That checklist does not ask for an account, and its saved selections are not submitted to us by the checklist. You can remove them by clearing this site’s browser storage.
Advertising and analytics
We have not enabled Google AdSense, advertising pixels or Google Analytics for launch. If we add nonessential tracking or advertising, we will update this notice and provide appropriate choices before enabling it where required.
Sharing and retention
We use hosting and email providers to operate the site and handle correspondence. We do not sell contact-form messages. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address misuse. We retain correspondence only while needed to handle the request and related records; technical logs and backups follow the relevant service provider’s retention settings.
Your choices
You can ask about information you have provided, request correction or deletion, or object to its use through the contact page. The rights and exceptions that apply depend on your location and circumstances. We may need to verify a request before acting. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.
External websites and changes
Links to sources lead to independently operated websites with their own privacy practices. This notice applies to CyberUnpacked. We will update the date above when our practices change.
